The Position

 

The position of General Manager (GM) supervises the full operation of the year round indoor aquatic facility, as well as, provides leadership and supervision of staff, recreation programs, classes and special events.  The GM reports to an elected five member board of directors.  The work involves:

 

  • Planning, implementing and promoting activities
  • Hiring, scheduling and supervising staff
  • Developing and implementing policies and programs
  • Serving at the discretion of the Board of Directors
  • Establishing effective relationships with citizens groups, school   district, community college, Boys and Girls Club, City, County and the community at large
  • Analyzing trends in local and regional recreation for program planning Facilitating and participating budget preparation
  • Managing resources of facility
  •  

Salary:  $41,400 - $52,900 plus benefits depending on experience
